The department of ECE was started in the year 2007 with an intake of 60 students. The intake was increased to 120 students from 2009. The department has established 10 laboratories namely Analog Communication laboratory / Digital communications laboratory, Electronic Devices & Circuits laboratory / Pulse & Digital Circuits laboratory, Integrated Circuits & Applications laboratory, Microprocessor & Micro controller laboratory / Digital signal processing laboratory/ECAD laboratory and Microwave & Optical communications laboratory which are fully equipped with test & measuring equipment and trainers specially designed for lab work. With strength of 75 students for each class, a total of 6 classrooms are provided in the department. The department has dedicated and experienced faculty of 8 teaching staff & 2 non-teaching staff.
